What’s been happening:

Since 2002, I've remained in academia, finishing up my M.S. and Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University working with Dr. Graeme Stephens. My interest is in understanding the global scale changes in radiation and precipitation due to man-made climate change. I also spend a lot of time doing outreach to K-12 students and the general public, explaining climate change and helping people to understand better how science works, hopefully removing some of the fear people sometimes feel toward science. I currently teach 4 classes a semester at SUNY College at Oneonta in the Earth Sciences department, and I love every minute. Allyson and I have been married for 4 years, having met while we were both in grad school. She is a United Methodist minister at a local church, and we are both very happy to be living in central New York.
